Traditional Rag Rugs
Rep RugsRep weave rugs, or rep rugs for short, is a warp-faced weave. The design, patterns and colors are all made with the close warp of cotton yarn and the filling made with a heavy yarn, giving the rug a distinct ribbed surface. A nifty thing about this is that it makes the rugs reversible, so you get two designs. The rep rugs are a classic, that has been around since the late 1800s.
